The Alcohol Myth
If you think there is any chance that having a better relationship with alcohol could improve your life, this is the course for you.
Only around 3-5% of regular drinkers in the UK are classed as alcohol dependent, which means if you're one of the 95% that isn't at ‘rock bottom’, where do you even start?
Much of the available information and support is aimed at people with severe addiction which can seem irrelevant if you don't fit into that category.
This course is about the myth surrounding alcohol and how ingrained it has become in our lives, even for ‘normal’ drinkers. We work through 5 truths which help us unravel those myths and start to get a better understanding of the role alcohol plays in our lives.
It is not a set of rules or a program with set guidelines.
This whole course is about how we perceive alcohol and being honest about our relationship with it.
The aim is to finish the 12 weeks with a new perspective and being able to have a more truthful and meaningful conversation about how your life is going to look.
Not for people with severe alcohol dependency
This course is not aimed at people who are alcohol dependent. If you are in a state of dependency or addiction, please seek professional help from your GP.
